Not to be confused with the area where the TV show “Bonanza” was filmed, the Ponderosa neighborhood is located on the west side of Incline Village. The area mainly consists of single family homes, nestled in the trees near First Creek and Second Creek.
The Ponderosa area is conveniently located near Hwy. 431, Hwy. 28, and Burnt Cedar Beach. Some of the streets in the area are named after evergreens such as Lodgepole Drive, Ponderosa Avenue, Silvertip Drive, Jack Pine Lane, and Knotty Pine Drive.
